JISC Emerging Practices, which ran during 2012 and 2013, aimed to:
- Highlight emerging practices relevant to JISC Innovation Programmes and UK further and higher education
- Provide support and professional development opportunities
- Offer opportunities for like-minded people to share experiences and ‘learn by doing together’
JISC Emerging Practices was delivered by Will Allen (formerly Jisc Netskills, now employed by Jisc) and Andrew Stewart (formerly Jisc infoNet, now employed by Jisc), overseen by Myles Danson from Jisc.
Topics of focus included:
- Enterprise Architecture (EA)
- Digital Storytelling
- Measurement Tools
Will and Andy managed JISC Emerging Practices in an open and transparent way. Comments, suggestions and ideas were very welcome during the initiative and this site is a lasting record of the activities, outputs and discussion.
